David Ziser Seminar

What a great seminar I attended last night. World renowned David Ziser was in town with his "Digital Wakeup Call" Seminar. Matt and I attended and learned many new things about creative lighting at weddings. There were so many other valuable things covered that I can't wait to get to the next wedding! There were some great vendors there showcasing their products and we learned of a new album design software that will make designing custom wedding and other types of coffee table books much easier and much better looking. We will be offering many new styles of these popular books for our family portraits, seniors, maternity, babies and children. There was so much information covered that I felt like my head might expode when I got back home. (I actually didn't get to sleep until the sun started coming up). Crazy, huh?

Breakaway Photography My grandchildren!

Hi All, Welcome to my first Breakaway Photography Blog Post.
What a week! I've been busy, busy, busy retouching and ordering all the High School Senior portraits needed in time to go out in announcements. I've also photographed two proms this weekend and had my daughter and grandchildren visiting from Louisiana for a week. I so enjoyed having them here. So sad to see them go. I did manage to carve out enough time to get some quick portraits though. Aren't they just the cutest kids ever? :o)
